Company Overview:

Adevu is a newly established IT startup company comprising a team of 10 individuals. Adevu helps wonderful business owners to bring their web presence into the modern age. They are based in India, New Delhi as well as US, New York, serving the web designing needs worldwide.

About my role: Here, I have worked as a Frontend Software Engineer, where my primary responsibility involved developing the user interface (UI) for a Hotel Management System.

    My Contribution:

    • Conducted technical interviews for developers at various levels within the organization, from freshers to senior developers, ensuring that all candidates were thoroughly assessed and matched with appropriate roles.
    • Developed a Hotel Management Website using ReactJs, Html, Css & Bootstrap to improve user experience and increase engagement, resulting in a 30% increase in site traffic
    • Utilize Selenium WebDriver, Postman, REST API to perform automation, performance, code quality testing and API testing
    • Experienced working in a dynamic, fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules utilizing tools such as Notion, JIRA, Slack. Collaborate with the development team and project manager to execute test plans and deliver high-quality performance, also communicate effectively through verbal and written communication, ensuring clear and concise delivery of testing status, issues, and results.
    • Hosted HMS website over AWS Amplify with Python and Django backend infrastructure, leveraging load balancers to optimize site speed by 50% and provide high availability and scalability. This resulted in higher customer satisfaction.
